The Salon
Ymay Hair Studio opened it’s doors to its new location on November 11, 2008.
We were previously located on 17th avenue and 7th street for about two months before a fire.
On Saturday, March 8, 2008, Rachelle received a phone call from the alarm company notifying her of a disturbance in the space. They had no idea it was on fire! Her partner raced down to the salon and 911 was called.
The fire was easily put out however severe smoke damage made it impossible for the salon to reopen at that location. After six months Rachelle re-opened the new and improved Ymay Hair Studio.
Ymay Hair Studio welcomes you to come down, now that you know a little history of this new salon, you can become a part of it’s new beginning!
